The magical Fairy Glen - Betws-y-Coed

Witness the magical beauty of Fairy Glen! Featuring majestic rapids and cascades roaring down from Beaver Bridge, this stunning ravine is something to behold. With lush green foliage clinging to its walls and the calmness of its wooded banks, your gaze can't help but be drawn to its enchanting atmosphere. Whether on a romantic getaway or just an afternoon off, take the path from Fairy Glen Hotel and step into the wondrous realm of Fairy Glen. Where nature, beauty and wonder awaits!

Once you turn left off the A470, you'll know that you're on the right track to the magical Fairy Glen! Just ignore the temptation to park in the Fairy Glen Hotel and take the small track down instead. It's definitely worth the effort, as you'll be charged just 50p per person to explore this spectacular scenery. The trek is not too onerous - there's only 15 minutes of walking before you reach the glen, and the steep stairs promise a picturesque view right at the end. Remember to bring your hiking boots though - it can get slippy in the wet, which I found out on my visit !

But, the best part is how peaceful and serene the glen is. I only saw one other person whilst I was  there, which made my visit truly special. After all this effort, you're sure to have some amazing photos and videos to show off - the Fairy Glen is completely worth the journey!
